Thinking of my Uncle Johnny with love
Posted by Marilyn Carter - Umpqua, OR - Family September 18, 2019
Uncle Johnny was such a good and decent man who could do and make anything. You have only to look at my wonderful cousins to see the enduring legacy of love of Uncle Johnny and Auntie Marian.
I have the best memories of time spent with the Allevatos. Uncle Johnny not only made the best meatballs (with milk soaked bread), but played the best Santa (making us wait until each one opened their presents-so frustrating). That was when the Allevatos could fit into one small family room.
With love, sadness and wonderful memories that will last a life-time, Cousin Marilyn
