Benjamin F. Montoya, 80, resident of Fairfield, California passed away on December 19, 2015 in Fairfield, Ca. Born in California on May 24, 1935 to Benjamin and Margaret Ramirez Montoya. He is survived by his wife Virginia Cox Montoya and their seven children. He was a retired U.S. Navy Admiral. A wake will be held on Tues. Jan. 5, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church Palm Desert. A funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Church Palm Desert, Ca. on Wed. Jan. 6, 2016 at the hour of 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Coachella Valley Cemetery.
