Joseph Hlavac passed away on Sunday October 15th. Born in Manhattan, N.Y. on April 22, 1945 and a veteran of the U.S Army, he is survived by two sons, two nieces, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren as well as many great friends countrywide.

An avid car lover, he owned literally countless street rods and classic cars throughout the years and was very active in the Houston and Palm Springs car communities.

Joe rescued and truly loved his many dogs over the years, especially Cowboy who passed away earlier this year.

A visitation will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 18th at St. Paul in the Desert Episcopal Church followed by a funeral service.

Joseph will be dearly missed by everyone he came in contact with.
