Luz Rodriguez (Lucy) 97, of Palm Springs, CA, passed away on April 13, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born March 13, 1920 in Guanajuato, GTO Mexico, to Juan Valdivia and Tiburcia Urbina.
She is survived by her daughters Leticia (Gilbert) Rodriguez of Palm Springs, Micaela (Lonnie) Judd of Riverside, Sons, Raul (Patricia) of Indio, Frank (Lilia) Garcia of Cathedral City, Robert (Gloria) Rodriguez of Dodge City KS, Manuel Rodriguez of Riverside. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and 60 great-great-grandchildren.
Luz is preceded in death by her father Juan Valdivia, mother Tiburcia Urbina, brother Felipe Valdivia, spouses Jose Garcia, Antonio Rodriguez, Daughter Lucy Henderson, Grandsons Jamie Henderson, Raul Garcia Jr. and Chad Rodriguez.
She had a heart of gold filled with so much love for her family and friends. A very devoted Catholic, we gave mother what she wanted...to be at home with family and to live on her terms with dignity.
