Ora Lee Castleberry, 90 years young of Indio, California passed away September 1, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. Ora Lee was born September 9, 1925, to Goldist and Hattie Lou Roberson in Henderson, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 yrs., Willie Jene Castleberry and daughter in law Thelma Castleberry.
Ora Lee is survived by her six children: Charles Castleberry, Stephen Castleberry (Shirley), Michael Castleberry (Joann), Stanley Castleberry, Sandra Vault, and Cherie Castleberry-Waters (Ronald). In addition to her children, Ora Lee is survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and one brother, Lester Roberson and host of nephews and nieces and friends.
A viewing will be held at 10am on Thursday, September 8th with a Service at 11:00am, at First Baptist Church, 82-490 Dr. Carreon Blvd., Indio. Interment will follow at Coachella Valley Cemetery.
Services entrusted to FitzHenry-Wiefels Mortuary – Indio, California.
