Patricia Jean Panico was born January 12th, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio. She passed away peacefully on August 12th, 2017 in Cathedral City, California. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Panico and is survived by her daughters Carita Hatmaker, wife of Scott Hatmaker and Karen Panico-Willis, wife of Steve Willis. "Grandma Patty" has 5 grandchildren: Steve, Terry, Erick, Jennifer and Debbie. She also has 13 great-grandchildren: Tristen, Ashley, Britney, Justin, Chase, Landon, Mason, Kiera, Kolton, Connor, baby Remmington and currently "in-flight" Ronan and Thomas. Patty is also survived by her sister-in-law Mildred Sullivan and her half-sister Yetta Paeltz.
Services will be held at Wiefels Palm Springs Mortuary on August 29th, 2017. Viewing will start at 10:00am followed by Chapel Services at 11:00am. A committal service will immediately follow at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area 2 promptly at 2:00pm.
A Celebration of Patty's Life will be held Sunday, September 10th, 2017 from noon to 4:00pm at the home of Carita & Scott Hatmaker. We hope you will be able to join us and share your memories.
