Roy S. Salazar, age 104, was born on August 10, 1911 in Ignacio, Colorado to David and Domitilla Salazar, passed away in Indio, Ca. on January 31, 2016. He was the Owner Operator of his trucking business for 50 years. He is survived by his four children Nellie Smith, Helen Mason, David Salazar and Rod Salazar, twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. He was a Life Member of the Knights of Columbus. Roy loved to dance. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the hour of 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be said at the hour of 6:30 p.m. at Christ of the Desert Chapel 73441 Fred Waring Dr. Palm Desert, Ca. A Mass will be said at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 82450 Bliss Ave. Indio, Ca. on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the hour of 11:00 a.m. with a Graveside Service at the Coachella Valley Cemetery 82925 Ave.52 Coachella, CA. at 12:30 p.m.
