•Alan, I will always remember growing up together, going to the beach every day when we were little, collecting bottles and dragging them up from the beach for spending money.
•The day we were walking home from school and you tossed a rock into the port o potty that was on a construction site on our street, not knowing it was occupied at the time by a construction worker who came

•I would like to say a few things to my brother.
•Alan, I will always remember growing up together, going to the beach every day when we were little, collecting bottles and dragging them up from the beach for spending money.
•The day we were walking home from school and you tossed a rock into the port o potty that was on a construction site on our street, not knowing it was occupied at the time by a construction worker who came after us. You got away, I got caught. Later we laughed pretty hard about that one.
•Working together on our cars as teenagers, you always were including me in the activities with your friends, so I would not be left alone, at home, since I wasn’t old enough to drive.
•Our weekend trips to Skate Ranch roller rink and to Glacier Falls Ice Rink in Anaheim. You convinced me to learn how to ice skate so I wouldn’t get left behind, because you and your group of friends got tired of roller skating and wanted to try something new.
•We were raised in a volatile environment and always comforted and confided in each other. I look back and realize, that is how we got through it.
•I know you always thought you needed to watch over me.
•After you enlisted in the Navy, it was up to me to grow up and be a man, I was on my own.
•Alan, I regret that our family was not aware of your Hospice Care, your last rights being given or the hours before your passing.
•I was told that you opened your eyes prior to your passing and looked around the room. I may only hope you weren’t thinking; where is my family. Had we known we would have been there for you; for sure? I will struggle with these regrets for the rest of my life.
•What I WILL HOLD onto; is the last words we ever spoke in the HOME we grew up in. I hugged you and kissed you, on your head, told you I loved you and you told me you loved me.
•We all LOVE you BRO and will always miss you. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE!!!

I will miss you Alan. You were a great guy and I will never forget you. Gone too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
