Dear Carolyn, Michael and Richard,

I had no idea that Ernie was gone and I am just heart broken. He was one of the guiding forces in my life, the man that I worked for that I will never forget. He gave me a place in this world and taking care of him and the business was something that meant so much to me. Even though so much time has passed, I want you to know that there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him, you, Carolyn and the boys. I remember Michael and Richard growing up to be such wonderful young men. You made me feel like family and brought me into your lives. The world is a much poorer place without Ernie, his drive to do so much and to make such an impact. In that, he was truly successful because he touched so many lives with his brash ways, Brooklyn accent and caring heart. I will always carry love in my heart for all of you. May you all be at peace and know that he was a shining light in this world. He truly touched me.

We were saddened to learn of Ernie's passing. We have fond memories of our good times together as couples. One thing we remember that Ernie done for us that we enoyed, was a tour of Palm Springs when we came to visit. He was a gracious person. Our sympathy goes out to you at this difficult time.
